Simple, Easy and Delicious Pesto Pasta

This is my recipe for simple, healthy and delicious pesto pasta. Should be ready in 15 minutes, so it’s nice and quick!


  • Packet of pasta (gluten free if preferred)
  • 2 cups of basil leaves
  • 1 brown onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 punnet of cherry tomatoes
  • 50g of feta cheese


  1. Slice the brown onion and cut or crush the garlic, and cook in a saucepan with olive oil. The saucepan should be on medium heat.
  2. Boil water and put in the pasta (should take about 5-8 minutes for the pasta to cook).
  3. Roughly chop up the basil leaves and put into the saucepan with the onion and garlic. Add a pinch of salt. Turn down the saucepan to low heat.
  4. Cut each of the cherry tomatoes in half and mix through the saucepan.
  5. Finish cooking the pasta and mix through with the sauce in the saucepan.
  6. Plate up the pesto pasta, and cut up the feta cheese and place on top of the dish.
