We all know Bali and Thailand are the hot spots for Aussie holidays. Why wouldn’t they be? They’re fun, affordable and won’t put a dent in your bank account. But where else can you explore culture, party under the moon and enjoy the sun and sand for such a budget-friendly price?  Besides these time-honored destinations you can check out; Cambodia, Malaysia, New Caledonia, Fiji and Hawaii.

Cambodia

This neighboring country of Thailand often gets overlooked but it offers heaps of culture with the mesmerizing Angor Wat in Siem Reap, bustling beaches of Sihanoukville and the nightlife of Pub Street. You can travel across the country for a mere $12 per person. Cambodia is a hidden gem that where you’ll get the best bang for your buck.
