These sweet treats are not only simple to make, they are an exceptionally healthy way to treat a sugar craving! Using hazelnut meal results in an indulgent nutty flavour, but for those with nut allergies, dessicated coconut offers a great alternative.

INGREDIENTS:

Uber Healthy Balls… Yummy!

2 ripe bananas, mashed
Juice of half a lemon
2 cups of pitted dried dates, chopped
1 cup of rolled oats
Half a cup of hazelnut meal OR dessicated coconut
Extra hazelnut meal OR dessicated coconut (for rolling)

METHOD
1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl and use your hands (clean hands only!) to squish and mix everything together into a sticky dough consistency.
2. Roll walnut-sized pieces of the ‘dough’ into balls and roll them in hazelnut meal or dessicated coconut to coat.
3. Place balls in an airtight container and refrigerate before eating (if you can wait that long!)
